Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026What are cookies
Cookies are small files websites store on your device to remember things about your visit.
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how the service is being used.
What we use
VennURL uses only the cookies it needs to function.
Session cookies (essential)
These keep you logged in while you're using VennURL. They expire when you close your browser.
Authentication cookies (essential)
Set when you sign in. These let VennURL recognize your account across visits. They expire after your session or when you log out.
Preference cookies (functional)
We store your dark/light mode preference using localStorage rather than a cookie. No server-side tracking is involved.
Firebase / Google cookies
If you use Google Sign-In, Google may set cookies as part of their authentication flow. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
What we don't use
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics that follow you around the web.
VennURL does not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel)
- Cookies that track you across other websites
- Fingerprinting or device identification techniques
Your choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying logged in to VennURL. Blocking non-essential cookies will not affect core functionality.
